"I want to go down and play with my friends!"

'Twas the 12th annual holiday party
And it was loud at our place
All creatures were sipping
All the wines from the case

Jamie ran in and out of legs and
greeted all guests with glee
and hung a few more ornaments
on her own little Charlie Brown tree

Then, off to bed for Jamie
to Catch some zzzzzz's
Brush your teeth, get in your pjs
pick out a book, then, bed please!

Mama in her bustier
and Dad in his Hula shirt
Had just settled down with friends
To dine and to flirt:)

When what to our
wondering ears did appear
but a little crying voice
- but we could not hear

We sprang from the table
to see what was the matter
and flung open the door
so we could hear the chatter

It was sad Jamie
with her mouth in downward bends
"What is it J?", we said with love
"I want to go down and play with my friends!"

Jamie's Friends!
